Regulations

The Health and Safety at work act 1974 places a duty on the employer to provide an adequate level of training to allow employees to operate equipment safely and competently. All courses conducted by Nationwide Platforms enable your company to comply with this requirement.

Qualifications

Courses are approved by either the Construction Industry Training Board under the Certificate of Training Achievement (CITB/CTA) or by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). Both of these schemes are nationally recognised and provide the operator with a permit valid for five years.

The two schemes have the additional benefit of being the first step on the route to an NVQ for those who require it
