Nationwide Platforms helps Demolition day go with a bang!
Nationwide Platforms were called upon for an unusual job recently. Part of Lavendon Access Services, the UK’s largest powered access supplier, Nationwide Platforms provided Warwickshire based AR Demolition with three scissor lifts to act as sentry points to complete the demolition of two large 46 metre high chimney stacks at Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire – the last part of a derelict factory to be demolished.
Nationwide Platforms supplied three rough terrain scissor lifts – one 9250, and two GS32 D’s – to act as sentry points prior to, and during the demolition of the chimney stacks.
Both models are diesel powered and four wheel drive, therefore suitable for outdoor use, and as they come with rough terrain tyres as standard are also suited to moving over uneven ground. |
