Supporting The Spine

Liverpool's newest flagship building, The Spine in Paddington Village is home to the Royal College of Physicians. The new building in the Knowledge Quarter is part of a £1billion expansion project for the city is on track to open in 2021.  Nationwide Platforms are working with contractors at the 14-storey building to enable to work safely at height with our aerial platforms.

By order of the Peaky Blinders

Nationwide Platforms have been working with producers of the hit BBC TV series Peaky Blinders and their BAFTA award winning cinematographer George Steel across various locations in Georgian Quarter in Liverpool, providing platforms for a range of indoor, outdoor and evening shoots for positioning of lighting and cameras. You'll have also seen our equipment at a number of other locations across Merseyside including St George's Hall in Liverpool city centre, Port Sunlight on the Wirral and Stanley Dock for the filming of a dramatic gun fight.

You never walk alone

Nationwide Platforms have been working in the sports sector for many years, recently working with contractors on the Anfield stadium redevelopment project. The construction of one of the largest all-seater single stands in European football included work to expand stadium capacity, improve match experience for fans and improve the area outside the grounds. You can see the team working to put the Liverpool FC crest on the side of the stadium using one of our articulated booms.

Dream 

Located on the former site of Sutton Manor Colliery in St Helens, Dream is a 20-meter high sculpture designed by award winning artist Jaume Plensa. Nationwide Platforms were chosen to assist with installation of the giant statue of a 9 year old girl meditating, using two telescopic booms with a 27-metre working height. The sculpture now receives over 35 millions visitors each year.
