Technical Excellence
As a member of the Lavendon Group Nationwide Platforms is fully involved in improving standards through the Technical Excellence project. This sets a new 'best practice' standard for our branches in a number of key areas, including engineering and equipment maintenance, environmental management, procurement, housekeeping and Health & Safety.
We know that achieving Technical Excellence is having a marked impact on the business and is a key factor in helping us achieve our aim of having the most reliable fleet in the UK. We have secured the expertise of JLG Industries, the world's leading manufacturer of access equipment, who will be delivering a series of seminars, covering manufacturing standards and what's involved in achieving and maintaining them to the highest level.
Our aim is to achieve the same high standard across the country.
"TechX is a great example of what we can accomplish when working together, and with positive results rolling in. It is a standard I look forward to watching every branch in the Group achieve."
Lavendon Group Chief Executive, Kevin Appleton
Technical Excellence status is a standard that a branch must achieve following an audit by the Lavendon Access Services TechX Team. The accreditation is certainly not automatic, and to gain accreditation your branch must achieve a pass rate of 95%. Once successfully acquired, you must make sure that your status is maintained, as the team will be carrying out an annual review to see the continuation of your industry leading standards.
The TechX Team has adopted the 5S principles commonly used in the automotive industry to help you gain and keep your accreditation.
