Following the acquisition of UK Platforms in January 2019, Nationwide Platforms is pleased to announce that the integration of these two brands will complete on 1st November 2019. The enlarged business will operate solely under the Nationwide Platforms brand from this date.

Over the last few months, integration work has been underway with the aim of bringing together these two great trading brands to create a strong, healthy and robust business platform with Safety and Customer Service at its core.

The larger combined business will provide customers with a broader choice of equipment with a fleet of 15,500 units, offering improved availability and a greater, more responsive local service. Now with 38 depots spanning the UK, these smaller catchment areas will see Nationwide Platforms realise environmental benefits from shorter delivery journeys, which greatly supports their CSR ambitions for 2020 and beyond. 

Ensuring the reliability of the Nationwide Platforms fleet, the engineering department has been boosted to 335 engineers across the UK, delivering highly maintained machines to industry leading standards.

All former UK Platform staff have been integrated into the Nationwide Platforms family with new comparable roles and are ready to serve new and existing customers through the UK’s market leading powered access solutions provider.
