The HSE guide to Using Work Equipment Safely gives simple and practical advice on what you can do to eliminate or reduce the risks from work equipment within all workplaces and situations where the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 applies.

It is mainly for those who have responsibility, whether directly or indirectly, for work equipment and how it is used. If you are an Employer, a Manager, a Supervisor or hire out equipment for use in the workplace, this leaflet will help you understand what you can do to reduce the chances of an accident happening.

If you're using or managing the use of powered access in your work place, our IPAF training can help you work safely and effectively.
