Transport
Transport is a growing sector that plays a major role in the day to day operations within our company. Transport Management aims to provide quality and cost-effective services to get machines from depots to the sites of our customers. This in turn allows all delivery drivers to be professional and show good customer service skills.
Main Duties:
- Carrying out appropriate checks on the vehicle and equipment.
- Driving company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complying with all relevant legislation.
- Managing fleet operations so as to maximise output and cost efficiency.
- Keeping up to date with changes to VOSA, road transport and development.
- Setting up the machine correctly in accordance with the training and operations manual.
- Handing over machines to customers and familiarising them with the machine.
- Planning deliveries and collections to ensure cost effective use of the fleet.
