The Power Tower and Power Tower Nano offer a quick, cost-effective and safer alternative to using aluminium towers, ladders and steps. Figures for 2008/09 show 28% of fatalities caused by falls from height involved falls from under two metres. That’s why Panther is investing in the Power Tower and Power Tower Nano across its depot network. The light weight, push along, low level access platforms are made by CTE in the UK. CTE says their speed and ease-of-use makes them more cost effective than aluminium towers.

The Power Tower and Power Tower Nano are already proving very popular with both existing and new customers on long and short term hire.

The Power Towers are a lot more efficient to use than mobile towers and podiums. A Panther customer recently carried out a time comparison between a Power Tower and mobile tower of the time taken to transport from storeroom, set up, carry out small task, descend/dismantle and return to store. The time taken with the mobile tower and 2 operators was just over 25 minutes, where as completing the task with the Power Tower and one operator took just over 5 minutes – a clear winner!
