Lavendon Access Services has unveiled the new identity for the merger of the UK’s two leading Vehicle Mounted Access rental companies – EPL Access and Skylift. The merger follows the acquisition of the trade and assets of EPL Access by Lavendon Group plc on August 6th 2009.
The new name for the combined company is EPL Skylift which was launched on Thursday October 1st 2009.
The new company has over 40 years of combined experience in providing Vehicle Mounted Access, including van mounts, truck mounts and specialist equipment. In becoming EPL Skylift, the company now boasts an extensive national depot network and a fleet of over 650 Vehicle Mounted platforms with working heights from 9 metres to 72 metres.
EPL Skylift is part of the Lavendon Group plc, Europe’s largest access rental company, with unrivalled experience throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Lavendon’s straightforward approach to access rental provides real benefits to EPL Skylift’s customers – access to the very latest equipment, experienced support teams including specialist operators, experienced management teams and the largest safety training team in Europe.
